YM/YW Joint Activity for August

We were planning a water sports night. The weather was not as good and the temperature was in the 60's. We also had very little time so we were going with plan "B" Volley Ball and Pizza. Some kids were on their last trip for the summer and so our numbers were a little less. Everyone had a great time and Gary B made some great brownies and picked out a very good water mellon. Thanks to everyone.

Youth Conference August 2008

The kids had a great day with breakfast at 8 then down town for a digital hunt for sites. Back to the Moreland building for gathering. Over to the Ruscliff chapel for games dinner a speaker and a movie. Great day. Myrah had a little accident which was very unsettling. She is find, just some healing and lots of attention. 

Super Activity

We had a great time on Swift Lake in Cougar Washington. They boys climbed Mt St Helens and hiked thru the Ape Caves. They Bikes and did Water Sports. The food was the best ever - Thanks Brother Rood!!! Watch for more pictures and maybe even a video very soon.

BBQ with the Young Women July 2008

Lots of fun with water balloons and great food. Sure wish we could do something like this every week. Thanks to Sister Lindsay for the salads, to Bro & Sis Jones for the hamburgers and to Bro Bever for the great cooking.  

Service Project "Hey?"

The Young family had wood for the Young Men to cut up to sell. This will help the boys earn money for their super activity. So with that in mind we want to do a service project for them. Wednesday night July 2nd we had the boys out to buck hay. What an opportunity. They did a great job and with Brother Bevers' help we were able to do all the work in less than two hours. The boys had a good time and the service to the Young family was very appreciated.

The Young's also have a great petting zoo. just ask Brogan, Gary and Wyatt.
